Tassels is Velvet's last daughter, and is sired by my all-time favorite buck. Tassels is brown with white Togg markings and elf ears. She's polled. She is 50% LaMancha 50% Toggenburg. Tassels is long, level, wide and sharp, with a long neck. She's the image of her sister Fawn. Tassels freshened with a well attached udder and lots of milk - 10 - 12# as a first freshener.

Tassels is dry in the pictures below.

Tassels was bred to Tazer for March kids. She had twin does on March 11th, and they're so irresistible that we're keeping them both.

Kira is a huge growthy kid, with exceptional width and a long, level topline. She has fantastic feet and legs, and a wide, flat rump. She's brown with white markings and gopher ears. She is polled. Kira is 75% LaMancha and 25% Toggenburg.

Spot is a long, level doeling, with a wide, flat rump and lots of width. Like her sister, Kira, she is growthy with lots of bone. Spot is dark brown with tan and cream markings, elf ears, and as her name suggests - a white spot on her back. She is 75% LaMancha and 25% Toggenburg. Spot is polled.

Midnight is 1st generation American LaMancha. A lovely doe with a wonderful udder and tons of milk. She is all black with gopher ears, and is polled. She is long, level, wide and deep, with correct feet and legs, lots of dairy character. She has matured into a beautiful doe. Very graceful and stylish. Her udder is wide, with lots of attachment. She produced 10 - 12# per day as a fourth freshener. Midnight has been 1st, GCH and RCH many times. Also, 1x Best in Show. She will be a sixth freshening 7 year old.

Midnight was bred to Tazer for March or April kids. One doe kid born March 27th, and she will remain in our herd.

Sunset is a bright red-orange doe with gopher ears. She's a second generation American LaMancha. A very stylish, dairy three year old second freshener, she has excellent legs, great rear width and breed character. She has a beautiful udder, with lots of attachment fore and rear. She's milking 8 - 10# a day.

Jane is 75% LaMancha, 25% Toggenburg. She's polled with gopher ears. Black with white on her sides, cream markings and facial stripes. She's a long, level doe with good width, strong feet and legs. She has a very well attached udder, with a very nice shape, nice teats - just not as much capacity as we usually see in this doe line. She produced 6# as a first freshener. Jane has been many times 1st and 2nd. A showy doe. Jane will be a sixth freshening 6 year old in 2008. She is dry in the photos below.

Unfortunately, Jane didn't kid this year.

Cotton is first generation American LaMancha. She's black with a large white spot on top of her head, and she has gopher ears. She's tall, long and super wide with great ribbing.

Cotton has freshened with a beautiful udder - lots of capacity and attachment.

Cotton was bred to Tazer for April kids. She had a single buck kid on March 31st.

Pecan (Beanie), is a beautiful doeling from the Promessa herd. She's chocolate brown with tan and cream markings, a little white. She has gopher ears. She's 75% LaMancha and 25% Toggenburg. This doeling has size, width, and lots of bone, combined with a long, level topline and beautiful head. Beanie is a dry yearling.
