The following bucks and does are deceased, but they were very important to our herd. Some were
the foundation of our herd, others helped along the way. They contributed a lot of good qualities and strengths to their descendents.
And they are greatly missed - not only for what they did for our herd, but because they were all special with great personalities,
and dear to our hearts.

National Show Best LaMancha Udder
Purebred LaMancha, Road is black with silvery tan markings. He was extremely wide with a strong chest, lots of depth and
body capacity. His daughters are long, wide, deep and dairy, with long, elegant necks, strong feet and legs, and fantastic
escutcheon width. He also improved udder capacity. He was the sire of the GCH Jr. Recorded Grade Doe at the 1999
Iowa State Fair, and both the 1999 and 2000 Nebraska State Fairs. He also has several daughters with milking legs. He died
at much too young at 8 1/2 years of age, still my baby. He is greatly missed.

Velvet was an American Toggenburg. We like the Togg-LaMancha cross. She
is brown with white Togg markings, erect ears, polled. Velvet is a long, level doe, with a wide, flat rump, good depth, width
and dairy character, high, sharp withers. She milked 10-11# out of a round, well attached udder. Because of an udder injury
years ago, she is not a milker anymore. Velvet has given us some wonderful showy daughters. We lost Velvet at age 15.

Pocket was a 1st generation American LaMancha, with gopher
ears. She was a bright orange/red, getting a little darker with age. Tall, long, level and wide, with lots of body
capacity and dairy character. Very flat boned. A stylish doe, many times 1st. One time Grand Champion. She developed
a large, deep body, and visibly improved as she matured. We lost Pocket the end of March, 2005 and we're very
grateful to have her daughters - Topper and Chili in our herd to carry on her lines.
Sadly, Rootie died 8/29/2007. It was unexpected and
I miss him so much.

A very nice buck, Rootie is brown with tan trim and dark dorsal - chamoise. A wide,
stylish boy, with very nice feet and legs - he's a large buck. He has a beautiful LaMancha head. His dam is a lovely
doe - very smooth, with a gorgeous udder. We're very excited about Rootie's kids. He's thrown
a lot of length and width. Very nice kids. And as with the Tazer doelings, we look forward to seeing them freshen next spring.
