Commander got a spine and leg injury in 2006 and is ok to graze etc., but hasn't been
able to breed. He'll live out his life here as a beloved friend, and David's favorite buck. But if he does improve to
where he could be used on a few does, he will be - this is an udder buck.
Great news! Commander is doing better this year, and he is being used on a few
does!
Commander is gold, with a little white on his head. He's long, level and extremely dairy, with the strived for wedge
shape. He has a long neck and lovely head. Lots of rear width, good feet and legs. He's given us some fantastic kids. Lots
of width and style. So far, his kids are consistantly long and dairy, with lots of width. We're very pleased with Commander!
His daughter - T'Pol - has a capacious, well attached udder, and tons of milk! She's producing 20# ! His daughter, Sunset,
has an incredible udder, and is producing 8 - 10#. Chili, another daughter, produced 6 - 8#.
