We have purebred, American,
grade and experimental LaManchas. We bought our first goat in March 1982, and started breeding LaManchas in
1985.
We expect our mature does to be competitive in the
show ring, as well as productive on the milk bench, and breed towards that goal.
Because of health problems (our's - not the goats), I haven't been able to show as much as I'd
like. We are still breeding show quality animals.
We are offering some excellent discounts, etc. I would rather sell for less, and
see my babies in good herds. :) Just keep reading ...
If you buy at least two doe kids, and reserve them ahead of time with deposits,
you can also choose a buck kid - free of charge. Just send me 3 buck kid choices when you send your doe kid choices and deposits.
OR ..................
If you buy at least 3 doe kids and reserve ahead of time with deposits., I'll give
you a group discount of 15% off of each kid's purchase price.
OR ....................
If you prefer to buy just a buck kid, and you reserve it ahead of birth with a deposit,
I'll give you a discount of 20% off of his purchase price.
OR, even better .........................
If you reserve a buck kid with a deposit, and you pick
him up within a week of his birth - his price will be 50% off!
We have raised our kids on a CAE Prevention Program since
1988 - every kid has been taken at birth, and bottle fed pasteurized milk and colostrum replacement. But this has changed in
2009 - Because I have a non-healing broken leg and can barely get around at all, the
kids that we retain will be dam raised. The kids that are for sale but that were not reserved before birth, are mainly
also dam raised. The reserved kids will be raised on pasteurized milk and kept apart from the others.
So, if you want your kid to be raised on pasteurized milk, you must send a deposit and reserve it before birth.
They receive free choice hay. We start them on a small
amount of grain when they are close to weaning age.
A $50 deposit will reserve the kid of your choice for up
to one month of age.
Please try to give a first and second (or even third) choice for your kids.
Deposits are accepted in the order received. The deposit
is NOT refundable on cancelled orders. Balance of the purchase price must be paid by one month of age - or when
you pick up your kid - whichever is sooner. If the balance of the purchase price is not paid by that time, then the kid will
be offered to the next buyer. If necessary, reserved kids may remain here for a longer period of time (within reasonable
limits), but arrangements must be made in advance, and board must be paid in advance.
For animals ordered after birth, these prices are not guaranteed.
If 1) the kid of your choice is not born, 2) the quality
of the kid is not acceptable to us, or 3) unusual circumstances make it necessary for us to retain the kid, your deposit will
be refunded. Or, if you prefer, it can be transferred to another available kid of your choice, or used to reserve a kid the
following year.
To reserve an older kid, or an adult goat, a $100 deposit
is required. This deposit is NOT refundable on cancelled orders, and will hold your choice for up to one month. If
the goat needs to be here for a longer period of time, arrangements must be made in advance, and board must be paid
in advance. The balance of the purchase price must be paid when you pick up your goat, or at the end of the one
month - whichever is sooner, unless other arrangements are made. Otherwise, the goat will be offered to the next available
buyer.
Deposits may be paid by PayPal, or a postal money order.
The balance must be paid with PayPal, a postal money order, or cash (if paying in person). Absolutely NO CHECKS.
To use PayPal, just click on the BUY NOW link below, or the PayPal
link on the previous page. You can use a credit card on PayPal if you prefer.
Buyers are responsible for shipping and all related costs.
If
any Dream Goats buck or doe is found to be infertile, it will be replaced as soon as possible, after the signed registration
paper is returned to me, and I receive a signed veterinarian statement that the problem is genetic. The statement must be
complete, and the animal identified. I will also need a signed statement from the buyer that the animal has never sired any
kids (if a buck), or been pregnant (if a doe).
Thanks for your interest!
